Great photo.
I love it. The eyes on this larva seem unique in that they are quite large. I don't think I've seen any butterfly or moth larvae with eyes like this, in fact I can't seem to find anything with eyes like this.

I don't know about eyes, but my immediate reaction was some kind of chrysomelid larva.

Not really,
You could move it to the Chrysomelid page if you want. It certainly looks similar to many of those. You can also leave it in ID Request, I don't think anyone will be frassing these beautiful shots.
