Lacon discoidea - Lacon discoideus

Lacon discoidea - Lacon discoideus
Hubbard County Park, Suffolk County, New York, USA
October 13, 2008
Size: 10 mm
I identified this as Lepidotus discoideus from my Dillon and Dillon, but I can't find this in the Guide.
Found under bark of a fallen Pinus rigida in an open pine/oak woodland. Legs tucked in, but the beetle is alive. Not the best photo.
