Melyridae - Collops grandis

Size: 8mm
These Malachite beetles were hunting on salix along the creek. Their color is just striking!

Could be a malachite-hued Collop*s nig*riceps female.

The Collops nigriceps in the guide
are smaller and have all black legs, while in this one the femure is bright red
