Moved
Moved from Eustala.

I agree
this is different looking than our usual orb weaver posts. Very pretty. I'll try to find it, but I don't recognize it right off.

Resembles

Humpbacked Orbweaver (Eustala anastera)

Thank You
I figured you'd be the one to sort this out. I went through the orb weavers three times and even looked at Tom's web sight but still missed it.

Do you think should I move it to E. anastera as a tentative ID or place it at the genus or family level. I'm never sure what the protocol should be with uncertain IDs.

It's up to you
if you want to move it to species, that will be fine. There are going to be some that are wrong here and there just because orb weavers within one species can vary in coloration, and just from general mistakes. I think it matches well enough to move to species, but you can also move it to the genus or family level depending on your level of certainty.

Thanks Again
I added an image image showing a blow up of the epigynum scape which I believe keys this to Eustala. I also rotated the image showing the ventral side 180 degrees for comparison with blow up.
