Megetra cancellata - Megetra

Megetra cancellata - Megetra
Van Horn, West Texas County, Texas, USA
October 17, 2008
Size: 1-2.5"
Very slow insect with hump back that doesn't look like it belongs to the head. There are thousands of these bugs walking around here.

Don't touch!
I dont know the exact genus species but it's called a blister bug.....and for good reason.

What do you think of
Megetra here?

I moved this to Genus...
and if I had to guess at species, I would go with Megetra cancellata...
