a green Katydid Nymph - Microcentrum

a green Katydid Nymph - Microcentrum
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
July 6, 2005
Size: 20 mm
Found on Mandevilla. I'll send these nymph shots off to Tomas Walker and see what he says.

Katydid.
Well, Dr. Walker certainly is the leading authority. Let's see if my diagnosis agrees: I'm going to say the nymph of a Microcentrum sp. (angularwing katydid), based on the proportion of the body to the hind legs.

You are right,
and he didn't narrow it down any further either.
