Ground Beetle - Harpalus rubripes - Female
Kingston, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA
October 24, 2008
Size: 10mm

Moved to Harpalus rubripes
based on my re-examination of this photo-vouchered female specimen in my collection. No doubt this time. Sorry to lose first BugGuide record for H. indigens. I do have superficially similar female H. indigens and males in my collection but, alas, I have no digital camera nor experience using one.

Thanks Peter
I'm surprised this late in the season with all the carabids I collected, you're still identifying new species for the guide.
