Is it Sericomyia chrysotoxoides??? - Sericomyia - Female
East Angus, Quebec (near Vermont), Quebec, Canada

Hello I photographied this Syrphid last June, 14th at East Angus, Quebec (near Vermont).

I think it is in both case a female Sericomyia chrysotoxoides...

Am I right? Any idea othewise???

Supposedly an expert:-)
I'm supposed to be an expert, so I can confirm the genus. Not sure how many look-a-like species occur in your area, though. Nice images.
