Jay: I do not understand by what you said- "what happened to it?" what happened to what? the Id or the spider ? Could be a bit more specific.

Was referring
to the spider. It's either dead or unconscious, and appears to be soaking wet.

What happened
He was wet- I was washing the car and he must have gotten wet as he was hiding under the lip of the garage door- he was just sitting there- in fact, I ran and got my camera, put my camera down on the cement as you can see- and took the picture. I have a Canon 100 Macro + a 25 mm Ext. on a Canon XTi, (400D). After a bit he took off.. I don't know if he got hit by a hard stream of water or what- but finally took off. I was a bit amazed as they really jump to get away. Living in Arizona, the cement was pretty dry by the time I took the picture... Water doesn't last long here, especially outdoors!!
