Turns out these are D. arizonensis. The coloring is distinctive, they are more slender, and they match the type specimen that is posted at Orthopters Species File. Some of the published photos that are labeled as this species are incorrect, and that didn't help in sorting them out.

These don't look like D. covilleae
I'm pretty sure they are D. femorata, though I have to admit I've never seen D. arizonensis yet. These don't seem to fit the discription of that species though - assuming it is really even different.
