Male Four-spotted tree cricket found on grass in field - Oecanthus quadripunctatus - Male
Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin, USA
September 27, 2008
Several Four-spotted Tree Crickets were in a large grassy field. The males of this species were among the loudest I raised indoors. I had to put their vase inside a closed box with a thick towel over it....inside a closed closet...and it could still be heard singing in an adjoining room!
