Sweat Bee - Augochlora pura - Female

Size: 6 mm (approx.)
The gold may be an artifact of sunlight or flash. I get the same effect with blow flies. I think it's because the camera software doesn't expect the green channel to be overexposed.

Found in a sunlit patch beside a trail in suburban woods.
