Maybe Melanoplus dodgei? Seems to lack any an all distinctive field marks.

Camnula pellucida
Hi Richard,
I took the liberty of separating the two specimens. This one is a female, and it is a Band-wing Grasshopper, even though the wings are nearly colorless. They are often confused with Melanoplus. The easiest way to tell them apart until they become familiar is the lack of a spur between the front legs on this one.
