Insect had wings the as long as it's body. Unknown if there were two sets of wings.

Thank you for the identification. I also took a picture using the camera flash. It was interesting to note the change in hue of the wings.

It's a rove beetle. I think it's neat that they fold their flight wings under their outer wings.

Not a bad shot of one of our largest rove beetles, Platydracus maculosus. They tuck the long flight wings under those abbreviated wing covers. The vast majority of rove beetles are tiny compared to this species.
