Ant ID Request - Prenolepis imparis

Ant ID Request - Prenolepis imparis
Herring Run Park, Baltimore City County, Maryland, USA
November 4, 2008

hmm
I want to say Prenolepis imparis. But I had no idea there was a color pattern out there with spots on the abdomen.

I agree...
And see no other possibility either. Pale color and translucent spots are maybe due to the youth of this immature, almost callow, individual.
