Thrips from brackish marsh

Thrips from brackish marsh
Brazelier Island, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, USA
September 18, 2008
Size: <1mm
This thrips was bright yellow in life, but I cleared it and slide mounted it, so now it appears clear. As with almost all my specimens, it was collected from Spartina patens. I think it is a female.

Cool photo!
Wish I could help with the ID - hopefully an expert will comment. You can also move it to Thysanoptera at some point if you don't get any response here...
