While photographing an Acmon Blue on a Tamarisk bloom, what looks like a predatory seed bug captured a bee.

"other" insect.
The "guest" is an assassin bug in the genus Zelus. I saw one today on a eucalyptus blossom literally waiting with open "arms" for a chance to nab a hapless pollinator:-)
