Caterpillar on curly-cup gumweed - Heliothis virescens

Caterpillar on curly-cup gumweed - Heliothis virescens
Antelope Island, Davis County, Utah, USA
September 21, 2008
I find these on curly-cup gumweed flowers anywhere I go in Utah. Since the blossoms are quite small, so are the caterpillars. Does anyone know what they are and if they turn into moths or into butterflies?

Now we just need an expert to stop by
and let us know if these are really all images of a single species or if we have more than one species gathered here!

Maybe...
I think it is a Tobacco Budworm Moth caterpillar (Heliothis virescens).
