Longhorned beetle? - Centrodera spurca

Longhorned beetle? - Centrodera spurca
Marin County, California, USA
Size: 2 cm body length
I found this beetle in my house a few months ago, and I figure it's about time to find out what it is. I don't see anything like it in the Guide, but I have no idea where to even start searching. It looks like some kind of longhorned beetle to me, except the eyes look different. The beetle isn't dead, it just fell onto its back on a glass table and I took the photo from underneath.

Yellow Douglas fir borer.
This is a male Centrodera spurca.

Re: Borer
Thanks for the identification! Does this species utilize any other trees besides Douglas-firs? I don't think there are any trees of that type within at least a couple-mile radius around here (open oak woodland).
