False Honey Ant - Prenolepis imparis

False Honey Ant - Prenolepis imparis
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
September 19, 2008
Pretty small but tough to measure, maybe 3-5 mm. They made a little hill between a couple of bricks in an old walkway. My best guess was Prenolepis imparis (False Honey Ant)

Moved
Moved from False Honey Ants.

P. imparis it is
You would be correct then.

Thanks
All of a sudden, one day in the fall, there they were.
