Moth with Yellow Antenae - Coloradia
Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos County, New Mexico, USA
September 15, 2008
Was climbing up the bark of a narrowleaf cottonwood. Put out the yellow antenae when we tried to encourage it to move a bit more into the sun for photos.

Pine Moth
It looks to me like a pine moth, there are 4 fairly simliar species in the genus Coloradia.

This is most likely Coloradia pandora, although the other subspecies and another species in this genus in NM are similar.
