Pale bordered field cockroach - Pseudomops septentrionalis

Pale bordered field cockroach - Pseudomops septentrionalis
Athens/ Ben Burton Park, Clarke County, Georgia, USA
June 20, 2008
Size: about 3 cm
While this guy looks to me like a perfect visual match for the Pale Bordered Field Cockroach, the info page gives its range as "Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and northern Mexico, plus a disjunct site in Alabama." I saw several of these roaches over a couple of months, so this one isn't just a random anomaly.

Yep
Yep, it's a pale bordered field roach (Pseudomops Septentrionalis). Could be that their range is expanding

Seems to be the case.
There's a data point from Tennessee, also.
