Blue Dauber - Chalybion californicum - male

Blue Dauber - Chalybion californicum - Male
County Line Rd., Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA
August 9, 2008
Size: 25mm
I believe this is a C. californicum because of the pubescence on the thorax?

Male
11 flagellomeres = ♂

No objection:-)
Overall appearance looks like Chalybion. Plus, wing venation seems to confirm that ID.
