Keys to A. acornis
Using Fisher 1942, your Actenodes does key out to acornis. Eyes not separated by space equal to eye width, 4th antennal segment strongly traingular. No cupreous spots on elytra.

However, I'd wait to see what Ted, Dennis or Joshua weigh in, as I'm still getting used to keys and the anatomy descriptions therein. I want one... :-(
