Oriental Fruit Moth (Grapholita molesta) (?) - Grapholita molesta

Oriental Fruit Moth (Grapholita molesta) (?) - Grapholita molesta
Torrance, Los Angeles County, California, USA
November 17, 2008
Size: 6.8 mm
Found inside on a curtain.

It very much looks like an Oriental Fruit Moth (Grapholita molesta), but with shorter antennae.

As both antennae seem about equally long, it is not likely that both were broken.

An ID confirmation, and, when confirmed, a move to a new page, is highly appreciated.

Matches well other photos on the Internet and a spread specimen photo at MPG. Would it be possible to get a taller photo that I could trim to a square, for use at Moth Photographers Group? Please contact me at BPatter789@aol.com regarding permission to display your photos at MPG. Thanks, B.P.
