Size: approx 1 inch
As the summer passed, these grasshoppers would get more and more green.

female Chorthippus curtipennis
I'm not sure if they really change colors, but it would be interesting to learn more (since some species actually do). They do often darken with the onset of cooler temperatures in the autumn.
