Male conehead katydid.
Nice images of a male conehead katydid, genus Neoconocephalus. Careful, they can bite hard with those strong jaws (used to grind up grass seeds that they eat). This is almost certainly a native Florida species, probably N. triops, the broad-tipped conehead.
