Crab-leg Insect - Acanthocephala
Big Bend NP, Texas, USA

Size: About 1-1/2 inch
The closest image I could find that resembles this insect was of "Agave Bug". He was in a difficult spot to photograph, he seemed to be a very dark reddish color (sun glare) with one very crab-like leg.

Certainly it is an Acanthocep
Certainly it is an Acanthocephala, but I can't say which species.
