Sycamore Tussock Moth -
Halysidota harrisii
Upper Mud WMA, Lincoln County, Cabell County, West Virginia, USA
September 13, 2008
I believe this is a moth caterpillar, although I am unsure of that. This picture was taken in late summer, fairly close to a lake.
