black and red/orange stink bug - Largus californicus

black and red/orange stink bug - Largus californicus
Elkton, Douglas County, Oregon, USA
September 7, 2008
Size: under 1/2 inch
The closest I could find in the guide is Chlorochroa ligata, but none of them have a red shoulder stripe or red upper legs. Help in finding the error of my ways would be greatly appreciated.

Moved
Moved from Largus Bug.

Oops, in your range it's actually Largus californicus.

Largus succinctus (Largus Bug)
See what you think of these.

Perfect match -
No wonder I couldn't find it, it's not even a stink bug.

Hopefully, I'll someday get a knack for IDing all these little guys that keep showing up in my yard.

Thank you greatly,

:-P)
