Size: crane fly size
Not really sure what this is. Size reminded me of a crane fly. I found it in a restroom in the morning, likely attracted to light.

I don't know which kind, but it's a start.

Odd.
Not much moving out there now, is there? Found a few syrphids and plant bugs at Fullerton Arboretum the other day, syrphids and small bees at UCI Arboretum.

Actually when I got home I realized that this was one of the "buggiest" mornings I'd had in a while: two moths, two spiders, and two really weird things, plus various stuff I didn't shoot.

 
Crane fly
in the Tipula (Bellardina) group . I will be in California in late December and will see if I would get chance to see them. - Chen
