A tip
With this type of Katydid, if you can show the underside of the fastigium (the "cone" in front of the head), it is a great help in identifying them. This is a species of Neoconocephalus, and I'd say likely it is N. triops.

Added suggested image to group. Thanks for the info!! For some reason the one antennae id not visible in the shot, don't know why, but it is there. Unlike the two hind legs that are missing from this speciman. Seems to do fine without them though.

I think I'd still go with N. triops, but now it's more of a sure thing.

I suspect the antenna is bent back out of sight. Doesn't appear to be broken off, just hiding.
