Yes, it is very similar, but
it is an Eris. I thought I had a P. clarus the first time I collected one of these when I first moved to FL. After closer inspection, I was disappionted to find it was an Eris. Compare it to a good pic of an immature clarus and you will see the difference.

I've been keeping an eye out for these since your response and have found several. I'll try to post them soon. Also was able to get an entire courtship and mating series from a captive pair.

Could this be female Phidippus clarus?
The abdominal markings seem consistent for a Phidippus clarus. Especially the two lateral oblique parallel lines and anterior stripe.
