Plant Bug - Stenotus binotatus

Plant Bug - Stenotus binotatus
North Adams, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, USA
July 9, 2004

Thanks WonGun
There's a couple of color phases of these bugs, but the shape and general markings are the same.

It's a Stenotus binotatus.
Compare the outline of the wing with Alfalfa Plant Bug.
That of this guy is almost symmetrically rounded with respect to the middle of the wing, while that of the Alfalfa Plant Bug is nearly linear from the top of the wing to the base of the cuneus.
