Argentine ants (Linepithema humile) - workers
These hard-boiled gals are known to readily get across small water surfaces, including small ponds or Sea water. Such spectacular pictures help to understand why it is so difficult to get rid of them.

 
Dangerous?
why would they raft up in an aquarium?
I dont see any evidence of rafting eggs or larvae.

just that the aquarium is the warmest part of the room?
and it started raining here to the point that the ground is saturated?
