Jumping Bristletail
Apex Park, Golden, Jefferson County, Colorado, USA

Size: about 10mm
This bug hopped like a springtail. Any opinions what it is?

Jumping Bristletail?
Jumping Bristletail, perhaps?

Jumping bristletail
Yes it is. A silverfish relative, it is in the order Microcoryphia (depending on if you are a lumper or spliter). I can't get it to family without seeing the underside.

Microcoryphia
Thanks Dennis for the ID. I moved it to the bristletail page.
