Earwig Wings - Forficula auricularia - Female

Size: 17.5 mm
Adding this shot to show Dermapteran wings. We have only one other shot of an earwig with wings spread. Unraveling the extremely delicate hindwings is very difficult. Even after several tries and much patience, my results are still imperfect.

Actually, they do fly.
But very rarely so. I have never seen an earwig take wing, but at least one BG photographer has
