Attracted to light. One of the few times I have been able to capture one of these fellows with his wings open wide revealing the deep yellow body beneath.

Adults in Halysidota cannot be separated with photos. See the "See Also" section under "Info" for Halysidota tessellaris here and comments entered in Forums under Misidentifications here.
