Moved
Moved from Spiders.

Coloration and size indicate it is a male. At 9mm, it is likely a subadult male.

Mygalomorph?
Not sure at all, but it reminds me of a Mygalomorph.

Not mygalomorph, but....
I can understand how it can give that impression. This is most likely a "crevice weaver" in the family Filistatidae. Do wait to hear from Jay Barnes or Jeff Hollenbeck, our resident spider authorities.

Thanks!
I've perused to the BG images and it is a close match. Much appreciated!

crevice weaver
You're totally right. I haven't seen one of these in so long I'd forgotten all about them.

Thanks
Thanks, Lynnette, for the initial attempt at ID. Appreciate the your input.

So perhaps the spiderling
was also a crevice weaver?

...
That's what I was thinking, too.
