I found this caterpillar in scrubby mesquite habitat at 4:30 PM.

Many of the markings on the feet etc are quite similar. At least the same genus??

nice photos! I looked through all the larval images available on MPG, but no matches there. Can't wait to see what this cool look cat will be when it grows up 8:)

It's a geometridae
but beyond that I don't know. fabulous picture though.

Looks to be a cousin
of this guy . What a beauty! We'll keep looking for a definite answer.
