Bug - Phengodes

Bug - Phengodes
Durham County, North Carolina, USA
October 12, 2008
Size: about 1.25 inches
This bug was crawling on the side of our house. I assume it is some type of larva. Does anyone recognize it?

Moved
Moved from Glowworm Beetles.

Neat looking beetle larva!
I think it's a glowworm, family Phengodidae.

Thanks.
Looks good to me. And I've seen adult glowworms around here.

Adult females are larviform.
Remember that adult females of phengodids are larviform. I can't tell which this specimen is....
