Surprise, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
April 30, 2008
Size: 3 to 5 inches
I was cleaning my pool and noticed this bug sitting there cleaning itself. I went back inside and got my camera becuase the bug was interesting. It's red shiny head, with yellow and black wings and looks like a pair of red eyes at the bugs torsoe. It almost looks like a ant. Not sure what this is maybe someone can help.
