Moved
Moved from Cheiracanthium mildei. I agree Joe. And from what I've learned since 2009 I'd actually say it's more likely C. inclusum which seems to be the one more often found in nature while C. mildei is more often found in structures.

Can't take to species
I don't think we can know which species this is. Every Cheiracanthium I have found in Texas so far has been inclusum, and they come in a huge variety of colorations. All of those that I have seen have black feet.

I'm doing a little investigating to determine the range of C. mildei, but it appears that we don't know its range. It's all guesswork.

Moved
Moved from Spiders.

Not sure
it seems to have the black feet of Cheiracanthium mildei?

I found it in tall grass in a
I found it in tall grass in a field near a lake. At the top of the grass was were it made its "cacoon". I don't know what else to call it. It was a yellowish ball with just a small hole were the spider could exit and enter. I didn't know what it was so I opened one up and found this spider. I don't know if this info helps any, but it didn't reside in a leaf hoome as i have read many of the others do...
