Black cherry leafroller/tier - Morrisonia confusa

Black cherry leafroller/tier - Morrisonia confusa
Colrain, Franklin County, Massachusetts, USA
July 29, 2004
This caterpillar was in a rolled/tied black cherry leaf. I kept it to see what it would become, and before pupating it turned pink. Nothing ever emerged from the pupa.
