Weevil - Polydrusus formosus
Two Harbors, Lake County, Minnesota, USA
August 30, 2008
Is this the Lesser Clover Weevil - Hypera nigirostris? Thanks for confirmation.

In Germany
this was our most common beetle. (We have lots of birches on our property.)

Polydrusus
Likely a worn-down P. sericeus.

i concur, P. sericeus
