...has way too many things screwed up so badly as to render it only marginally useful for purposes of beetle and true bug identification [i simply haven't checked other groups]

I think the cedar creek site
I think the cedar creek site has its Dicercas mixed up. The Dicerca tuberculosa, I think is Dicerca tenebrosa knulli, which is bronzy or coppery. Also I could not find any record of a Dicerca tuberculosa, I could find though a Dicerca tuberculata. Which has a greenish color to it. I may be wrong but I have a specimen of Dicerca tenebrosa knulli and it looks just like the so called D. tuberculosa on cedar creek. Also, Rick Westcott knows his buprestids very well.
