tropical house cricket - Gryllodes sigillatus - male

tropical house cricket - Gryllodes sigillatus - Male
Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California, USA
January 1, 2009
Size: about 1 inch (body)
Noticed there were no pictures of any males in the guide.

It's antennae are extraordinarily long and thus I've opted to crop them (I have seen some individuals of this species with antennae measuring upwards of 3 inches long... over 3x the size of their body.)
