Moth Caterpillar with Cocoons - Halysidota harrisii

Moth Caterpillar with Cocoons - Halysidota harrisii
Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia, USA
July 19, 2005
I am assuming this is a moth caterpillar being host to parasitic wasps. I thought I had seen an image like this before in the guide but I have not been able to find it. Help appreciated just to verify that it is something parasitic or not.

Cocoons.
The cocoons are of braconid wasps of some variety. Would be interesting to know what hatches, and possibly get a new host record.

Cocoons
I found this in vegetation along a creek. I never thought to bring it home with me. :(

Pretty sure
this is a Sycamore Tussock Moth. See guide page.

Thanks, Lynette.
For the ID and link to the guide page. I knew I had seen it here before.
