Earwig - Vostox brunneipennis - Male
Gatlinburg, Sevier County, Tennessee, USA

Earwig attracted to lights at the UT Field Station. I think this is the European Earwig, a female, but would like confirmation. Gathering_2008.

i'll be back shortly

Vostox brunneipennis?
It looks like it might be the same or close to the one in Marshall's book (1), page 69, and here in the guide.

most likely so
same as this one

V, the text says female,
but the other one with claspers like this you called a male. Does that make this one male also?

100% male
-- both this one and the cross-ref'd individual; but the one already IDed as V. b. (128068) is a gal
