Spider - Dolomedes triton

Spider - Dolomedes triton
Gatlinburg, Sevier County, Tennessee, USA
August 9, 2008
Large spider hiding in the cattails at the pond near the UT Field Station, Gathering_2008. I think it may be one of the Dolomedes spp, possibly D. triton. I couldn't get any other angle since it was out over the water.

Dang, sorry I missed seeing this one! Your ID to species is correct.

Thanks, Eric, for the conformation.
You should have come down to the pond with us!
